Terms of sale
Version 2021: 1 applies from 18 June 2021.
Introductory provisions
- Applicability
Scooterparts Sverige AB:s (” Scooterparts”) General Terms of Sale - Companies apply to the delivery of product, service and support service to the customer from the date stated above and replace previously of Scooterpart's published terms of sale.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply in applicable parts unless otherwise agreed.
If you shop as a consumer, that applies instead Allmänna Försäljningsvillkor – Konsument.
Special provisions for delivery of product
- Product information
The goods presented on Scooterparts 'website constitute Scooterparts' regular range. In the event of any difference between the terms, product information or prices stated on Scooterparts' website and in other publications, the information on the website takes precedence.
- Prices and shipping
Current prices for products are provided on Scooterpart's website, which is updated in real time. Prices are stated in SEK and Euro and incl. VAT. Cost for shipping will be added. Scooterparts reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price stated on the website applies unless otherwise specifically agreed.
Scooterpart's prices for imported products that do not constitute standard stock items are based on exchange rates applicable at the invoice date. Upon receipt of the order, a preliminary sales price is stated based on the exchange rate applicable at the time of ordering. When invoicing, the price may be adjusted in accordance with the exchange rate applicable for the day and determined by Scooterparts.
Shipping is added to all deliveries. The total shipping cost is calculated when paying for the order when it is clear what the shipment weighs, if the shipment is bulky, if the shipment must be delivered on a pallet or if it includes several packages. Untriggered packages will be charged a fee.
- Payment terms and security
Payment can be made by payment by credit card or PayPal.
- Order and order confirmation
By making a purchase at Scooterparts, the customer accepts these General Terms of Sale. By accepting the terms, the customer undertakes to follow the terms in their entirety.
Vid orderläggning skickas en mottagningsbekräftelse rubricerad ”Tack för din beställning” via mejl. Denna mottagningsbekräftelse utgör information om innehållet i beställningen. I samband med att ordern expedieras från Scooterparts lager, erhåller kunden via mejl en orderbekräftelse rubricerad ”Din order är på väg”. Bindande avtal mellan parterna kommer till stånd vid orderbekräftelse till kunden – dock är kunden bunden av sin order efter orderläggning.
- Delivery
Delivery takes place within Sweden and by Scooterpart's contracted carrier or courier company with delivery terms: Free Scooterpart's warehouse. The risk of delivery passes to the customer when the product has been handed over by Scooterparts to the carrier.
Scooterparts does not bear any responsibility for delivery delay, regardless of whether the delay is due to a delay with the carrier, a delay or a residual listing with the product manufacturer or another circumstance.
- Repurchase
Under the conditions below, Scooterparts accepts repurchases of a product from the regular range for sixty (14) days from the invoice date. Upon return, the product must be unused and returned in unopened original packaging, free from dirt, markings and damage. The customer must pay shipping for the repurchase return and any repurchase fee. Shipping costs and any repurchase fee are charged to the customer's any credit with Scooterparts or invoiced separately.
If you wish to repurchase, the customer should contact Scooterparts, preferably via My Account - Order History on Scooterparts' website and create a case there. Please note that receiving a case number or sending a return slip does not mean that Scooterparts has approved the repurchase. The customer must return the product to Scooterparts together with a copy of the order form and with information about the case number. Returns approved by Scooterparts must be received by Scooterparts no later than 14 days after the customer has received the case number. Shipping must be paid for and the product must be well packed in an approved outer packaging. The customer bears the risk for the product during transport.
Returns that are not approved for repurchase are returned to the customer at the customer's expense. Approved returns are credited to the customer after deduction of any return cost. Approval of return presupposes fulfillment of the above-mentioned commitments.
- Transport damage
Upon receipt, the customer must check the delivered products. Transport damage must be reported to the carrier and to Scooterparts, preferably via My Account - Order History. Transport damage must be reported on the day of arrival of the delivery, but hidden transport damage that was not discovered or should have been discovered at the delivery, must be reported as soon as possible and in any case within one week of receipt of the delivery. If the customer does not claim the transport damage in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the customer loses the right to make a valid claim for the transport damage.
- Complaint
Upon receipt, the customer must check the product / delivery. In order to claim that a product / delivery is incorrect, the customer must immediately after discovering the error complain the error to Scooterparts, however no later than 10 days from the invoice date and return the product in a certain specified manner.
In the event of a complaint, the customer must contact Scooterparts, preferably via My Account - Order History on Scooterparts' website and create a case. Please note that receiving a case number or sending a return slip is not to be equated with an approved complaint. The case number is valid for 14 days during which time the product must have reached Scooterparts. Upon return of the product, the return shipping to Scooterparts must be paid. Furthermore, the order number, invoice and information on a valid case number as well as a detailed account of the defect must accompany the product. In the event of a faulty complaint, Scooterparts has the right to return the product to the customer and to charge a shipping fee. Returns must be returned well packed in approved packaging (eg brown corrugated cardboard). The customer bears the risk for the product during transport. Any transport damage as a result of inadequate packaging will be charged to the customer.
- Guarantee
Guarantees for goods are provided by the products' respective manufacturers. Scooterparts makes no additional warranties beyond the specified warranty terms of each manufacturer.
- Responsibility
In the event of defects for which Scooterparts is responsible, Scooterparts undertakes, at its own discretion, to remedy the defect by repairing, re-delivering or refunding the purchase price. Scooterparts has the right to refer the customer directly to the respective manufacturer or to a service workshop designated by the manufacturer for the correction of the fault. Additional rights for the customer may follow from each manufacturer's own guarantees to the end customer. Scooterparts is not responsible for the compatibility of products with other products in Scooterparts' range or with the customer's existing equipment, unless otherwise expressly stated by Scooterparts or stated in product terms and conditions provided by Scooterparts. Scooterpart's liability for defects in the product is limited to what is stated above and the customer can not make other claims against Scooterparts due to defects.
The total liability that may arise for Scooterparts towards the customer (including liability for actions or omissions of Scooterparts employees, representatives or subcontractors and liability related to price reductions, redelivery or the like) is limited to the total price paid by the customer for products during the last twelve (12) the monthly period.
- Compensation etc.
Scooterparts is entitled to compensation in accordance with Scooterparts' current price list. If the Parties have agreed on a price other than the current price list, Scooterparts has the right to adjust agreed prices once per calendar year in accordance with changes in Labor Cost Index (AKI) code J (Information and communication companies).
Scooter party's compensation is stated incl. VAT and any other additional taxes and fees attributable to the Service.
Scooterparts is entitled to compensation for expenses in accordance with what has been agreed between the Parties.
- Customer accounts
Login information (username and password) to customer accounts on Scooterpart's website must be handled so that they do not come to the knowledge of unauthorized persons. By giving their login details to someone else, the customer thereby confirms that that person has the right to place orders in the customer's name and that the customer is liable for payment for such orders in relation to Scooterparts. For customer accounts that belong to legal entities, all persons who have access to the login information to the customer account are considered to be authorized to place orders on behalf of the customer. If the customer suspects that an unauthorized person has access to their login information, it is the customer's responsibility to immediately notify Scooterparts of this and change their password.

- Personal information
When Scooterparts is responsible for personal data
In connection with the customer's orders for products, Scooterparts will process personal data about the customer's contact persons ("company representatives") for the purposes and on the terms set out in Scooterparts integritetspolicyBy creating a company account with Scooterparts, the customer confirms that the customer has informed the relevant company representatives about Scooterpart's processing of their personal data and obtained their consent to the processing.
When Scooterparts acts as a personal data assistant for the customer
In cases where Scooterparts acts as a personal data assistant for the customer, the parties will enter into a separate personal data assistant agreement regarding the processing of personal data that Scooterparts does on behalf of the customer.
- Applicable law and dispute
Swedish law shall apply to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Disputes arising from these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be finally settled through arbitration proceedings administered by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce's Arbitration Institute (SCC). The seat of the arbitration shall be Stockholm. Rules for Simplified Arbitration shall be applied unless the SCC, taking into account the severity of the case, the value of the dispute and other circumstances, decides that Arbitration Rules shall be applied. In the latter case, the "SCC" shall also decide whether the arbitral tribunal shall consist of one or three arbitrators. The seat of the arbitration shall be Stockholm. In addition, Scooterparts shall always have the right to apply for an order for payment or bring an action regarding non-payment in a general court with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
- Disclaimer
Scooterpart shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance of Scooterpart's obligations under the Agreement to the extent that performance is made impossible or substantially difficult or costly due to circumstances beyond Scooterpart's reasonable control, including but not limited to, war-like events, riots and unrest, unrest connections, export and import restrictions, changes in legal regulation or its interpretation, other injunction by authority, strike, lockout, blockade or other labor disputes, fire, explosion or other accident, epidemics, pandemics, natural phenomena or for errors or delays in deliveries from subcontractors due to the above circumstances.
To avoid misunderstandings, the disclaimer includes the covid-19 pandemic, other epidemic or pandemic, or any of their subsequent consequences affecting Scooterpart's or subcontractors' ability to deliver or deliver at an agreed price or within an agreed time.
- Other
Scooterparts reserves the right to change all information, including but not limited to, prices, technical specifications and product offerings without prior notice.
Information and prices are provided with reservations for printing and typing errors, inaccuracies in specified technical specifications, suppliers' price increases and for final sales.
The information provided on Scooterpart's website does not constitute a commitment on usability, suitability or guarantee other than where it is directly stated in writing to the customer. Current offers are valid as long as stock lasts, unless otherwise stated.
The customer certifies in particular by accepting these General Terms and Conditions that the products should only be used in professional contexts, such as for example in their own business activities, in teaching activities or in public activities.
The customer is not entitled to transfer the agreement or rights and obligations attributable to the agreement without Scooterpart's written consent.
Scooterparts reserves the right to change these General Terms of Sale at any time.
